Gate of Cleopatra
Gate of Cleopatra : Cleopatra Gate is an important city gate belonging to the ancient period, and it is rumored that the Egyptian Queen Cleopatra entered Tarsus through this gate. The construction period of the gate indicates that it was built at the end of the Byzantine Period or during the Abbasid Period. Ibrahim Pasha of Egypt demolished it in 1835, leaving only the sea gate, a single arch on two legs.
