Olba: It was the center of the Kingdom of Olba and an important commercial city during the Hellenistic period. Olba was also an important religious center. As a subdivision of Seleukeia, the archbishopric of Isauria, the diocese of Olba, like the other Isaurian and Cilician dioceses of Diocaesereia, Kelenderis, Claudiopolis, and other dioceses, was subordinate to the patriarchate of Antioch from the beginning of the 10th century until the 7th century.
